Umm, when did the spelling change from "mininum" to "minimum"? I've seriously been spelling it mininum my whole life, but recently noticed Microsoft word changes my spelling.
I don't think that it has ever been mininum, I think you've been spelling it wrong all your life. But to your credit, miniNUM seems like it should more correct because we are talking about the smallest NUMber. And don't worry, you aren't the only one to spell it wrong: Google has 313,000 results for mininum.
