This kid is a stud. He's considered many to be the best high school basketball (as a junior!). I hope he chooses to go to BYU.

Ok, so I was trying to comment on Kyle's blog the other day and as I was doing that I somehow accidentally created a blog. So, I wonder if anybody will read this, be sure to make a comment, cause that's fun.

BYU Student Section Flash Mob Dance - BYU vs. Wyoming - March 5, 2011
Well, here's the video. The video really doesn't do the justice it deserved. We were opposite the students and it was impressive seeing several thousand do this dance. It was much more impressive than this video shows.

In Heaven, we will be enthralled by those we associate with. We will ask someone in which time period they lived and you will might hear, "I lived during the LaVell Edwards' years," or "I saw Roger Reid coach in the Marriott Center" or "I sang the Cougar Fight Song at a Gary Crowton game". And as you are standing there in amazement, someone will turn to you ask you which of the BYU coaches' period did you live in? And when you say "Bronco Mendenhall and Dave Rose" a hush will fall over every hall and corridor in Heaven, and all in attendance will bow at your presence. Guys, we were held back 6,000 years to witness the best years of BYU football and basketball. Remember who you are!

Tjonge jongen!
Should I make this a post about what's going on in my life or my thoughts on some things going right now? I think I'll just write and see what comes out. Bill Buchanan died- wow, that bites! I bought season tickets for football season next year. I think I may have gotten season basketball tickets too, cause there was some sort of promotion with that, but I'm not totally sure. I seriously have no idea what America will be like in let's say 5 years. Yeah, a lot will be the same, but gosh what is going on with the government and the economy? The Idaho trip was fun, always nice to see a sealing. It was fun playing werewolves with the ole group and then some Balderdash, chill time, Jack in the Box, staying at the Andersons and driving home with Jared and Cannon. We saw the Malad Gorge, Shoshone Falls and a huge gorge outside of Twin Falls. We kept on calling it the Great Valley, from The Land Before Time. It's weird that Provo is home. I've been here awhile now, but home was always Council Bluffs. Buying a home and settling down with a steady job sure changed all that pretty fast.
Emily saw Ninja Turtles 2 for the first time and she loved it! That's good to hear, I trust that she will raise our kids with Ninja Turtles. That was my favorite movie growing up and I purposely made it the last movie I saw before my mission. We need to watch Ninja Turtles 1 sometime, even though #2 is much better in my opinion. One of the reasons it's so good is because of the Ninja Rap. Speaking of the Ninja Rap, we saw Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer in concert. It was good- Vanilla doesn't have any moves left and sounds like a frog. Hammer definitely has it still. We almost saw a fight at the concert. We all dressed in 90's clothes- I can't believe we're already dressing in 90's clothes, though early 90's is pretty much the 80's. I wonder what the 2000's will be known for, actually I want to know what they'll even call the 2000's- probably that.
Go BYU! I forget how much I enjoy BYU basketball. I definitely LOVE football and I really enjoy basketball. That is one thing I am definitely excited about the next several years we're here in Utah- living so close to BYU. We have a lot of friends and family moving away from BYU going to jobs and school away from here. It's definitely sad that they're leaving and gets me a little anxious for a change, but then I remember how much our little family has been blessed with the circumstances we're in, and I'm glad we'll be here for 5-7 years. After that...law school in Hawaii???
There's so much to love about life! It really isn't worth worrying or wasting away. There are so many opportunities to have fun and just be happy. So much to see, so much to do, so many people to get to know, soooooooooooooooooooo muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch!

I need to free up my jump drive, so I'm posting these pictures.
Ha, Burroughs Burros.

Four-square at Gavin's place.
The Texaco next to Jack in the Box.
My first time at Jack in the Box.
This picture belongs in Lord of the Rings.
Cosmo and his buddies doing the Ok Go dance.
Playing Murder in the Dark at the cabin.

I got shot today, I'm out out the squirt gun war...sad day. No more distractions from school.

85-62...BABY!
That was the final score in the Utah game. This has been a good year for BYU sports. We won the MWC Championship and beat Utah in football and men and women's basketball. I'm sure we've beat them in other sports also, but I consider those wins the most important because they give us bragging rights. I like the little video that showed a boy with a Utah shirt on sitting on the sidewalk holding a basketball with his head down, and then another boy with a BYU shirt sits next to him, puts his arm around him and says, "there's always rugby." Haha.
Church was awesome yesterday. Lots of great testimonies and good lessons. Our ward is just amazing. Friday night we made a fort in our front room and watched "the boy who could fly" and "ocean's 12." Too bad we didn't get any pictures of the fort, it was amazing. Saturday morning my team lost to the best team in the league (they're 9-0). We've played them 3 times, first time lost by 40 something, second by 30 something, and third time by 15. We were neck and neck with them the whole first half. If we see them again, it'll be in the championship. We had a team party afterwards. That was fun, I was able to get to know them a little better. All of them are good at soccer and smashbrothers. We had the ultimate showdown...between SpyGlas guys and Park Place guys. They won 10-8, but it was close the whole game. We're going to challenge them in soccer. Afterwards I went to the DT Conference Center and shot David Luker. It was funny, me and Russ just went in there so casual, found him, did our business, and left. While we were going to the game, P-dub dropped me, Bret, and Carrie off. I asked Bret which hall was May Hall, he said it was the one across the street from the Marriott Center. So I went up to 2120, knocked on the door, Daniel Barrick came out, and I shot him. Last night after ward prayer I went to Glenwood Apartments to shoot Ian Morris. Well, I shot him, but it was the wrong Ian Morris. I guess there are two at BYU, so I'm trying to track down the other one.
It was hilarious last Thursday at Institute. I was eating dinner with other people in the ward and I saw Chelsea's target. So I called her up and told her that her target was in the room. Chelsea came in, I described her target for her, and then Chelsea shot her in front of all of us. Chelsea said, "You're dead!" The girl looked at her friends, and then said, "Ok, I'm dead." Chelsea asked if she was Amy...nope! My bad! So then I told Chelsea to shoot this other girl too. Haha. It was really funny.
I went to a business HELP training last Friday. It was really good. I was able to meet up with other people going to Uganda. We're all really excited. I'm really glad I'll be teaching business. I really believe that is a way to really improve the situation in the Political South.
Mitt Romney won the most votes at a Conservative Political Activist Conference the other day. Ya know it seems like he's doing really well with high up Republicans but not the mainstream. Hopefully that'll change. Hillary spoke the other day and talked in a southern drawl. LAME! She is so fake. She's from Illinois and is a senator in New York. It really bothers me how political some people are, especially the Clintons. More and more friends of the Clintons and former advisors and other political allies are turning on her saying how bad it would be if she was elected President.

Ha, more pictures from Hogi Yogi with Mom

So Gavin was interviewed after the first Utah game. It was fun.

Christy is dead...hopefully
Wow, lots to write about.
First of all, Whitney is going on a mission!!! She gave me blogging rights. But I'll let others talk about it as well, as long as you cite my blog.
Thanks to everyone that helped out this morning in squirting Christy. Haha, it's a really funny story. So we knew where she would be, but I guess she's not easily recognizeable. So I had Becca, Cecilia, Jared, Dallas, Skyler, Marie, P-dub, and Chelsea all in different positions. Right when class got out, Jared went in, Marie, Dallas, and Becca were near the main exit, Skyler and Chelsea staked out another exit and P-dub and Cecilia held down the other. I waited downstairs of the MARB. All of a sudden Cecilia calls me and tells me Jared is following her. Jared comes down the stairs followed by Marie and Dallas. It was a nice little stalking procession. I went up to Christy shot her in the back and because she didn't quite know what was happening I kept on shooting her in the front. She tried fighting my gun out of my hand...little did she know that in my left hand was another gun. Needless to say she was pretty wet. So we assumed she was my assasin based on intel but she claims she never got her target. If she's not my assasin then there's no mess. But if she is...then she has to be dead. But it's all based on the verdict of Allan Mount, the Grand Moff. I'll keep you posted. It was a fun morning. I'm anxious to kill more people...but there has been enough blood spilt today.
Not much other news. I might be ready for the Moab Marathon, I've been making lots of improvement. I have two months still, so we'll see.
Let's hear it for life everybody.

It's fun to put on pictures for some reason.
So this week has been really cool with Mom coming up, my bball team winning, our bball team beating UNLV, things going well in the squirt gun war, did well on my midterm, and other things...
I'll have to type up the whole story sometime about this squirt gun war because it is intense and me, Becca, and Cecilia are really feeling like we're in "24 world." That was a good episode last night.
I thought that I would have more time for things this semester by not working 20 hours a week, but I'm using up my time for other things. I need to adjust my time a little.
Taking pictures at the BYU-Air Force game.

Alan at the party.

This pic is in Great Falls, Montan. We are returning Chazlyn's nametag.
We tp'd an apartment in the ward.
So I thought the pics were coming out too small, so I'm making them larger now.

Trying to figure out how to cover 9 people with 3 tarps...it worked!
